3 years ago, no one ever know or cared about this player. Now, he has become an important player as Barca forward as well as Barca pressing game. Scored against Manchester United in Champions League Final 2010/2011 and be the first ever player to score in six different competitions tell more of the story.

FC Barcelona official site has announced to extend this winger's contract until June 30, 2016 with a buy-out clause increasing from 90 million euros to 150 million euros.

The sites also describes how consistent Pedro is throughout the season:

"Pedro Rodriguez joined the club in the summer of 2004 and played for the juvenil A and Barca B teams for four seasons before making the leap to the first team in the 2009/2010 season, when he appeared in 52 games. That season, Pedro scored 23 goals in all competitions, and maintained similar form in 2010/2011, netting a further 22 time".
