In 27 May 2008, Pique signed a four-year contract with Barcelona in a 5 million fee. After stay for 4 years at Manchester United, he go to his initial club (Barcelona) until present. 


Pique very delighted to the transfer and said:"I am very happy to be back, I didn't think I would be here again but this is very good for me."


The first season at Barcelona, he helping the club to become the first football club ever to complete The Sextuple. He is also one of four players to have won the UEFA Champions League two years in a row.
