HISTORY


Afellay born in 2 April 1886. Currently playing for FC Barcelona as winger, he also has played for the Dutch National team. Afellay's first debut in football was on 4 February 2004 at PSV Eindhoven during a cup match.

On 16 November 2010, FC Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven came to terms regarding the transfer of Afellay to the Catalan side in January 2011. On 23 December 2010 Afellay goes to Barcelona for a medical examination to finalize the deal. The fee was reported to be around 3 million euros.


Afellay recently signed a contract that will hold him until 2015 and also wearing number 20 shirt. Afellay made his Blaugrana debut on 5 January 2011 in the Copa Del Rey.
