Seydou Keita born in 16 January. He is a Malian footballer and currently playing for FC Barcelona as an attacking midfielder. Keita make his senior debut for Marseille in September 1999.


On 26 May 2008, Keita signed a four-year contract with FC Barcelona with the buy-out clause released from Sevilla of around 14 million euros. In the Catalan club, he set a new release clause about 90 million euros. 


On 13 August 2008, Keita make his official debut for the club in a Champions league qualifier against Wisla Krakow which Barcelona won 4-0.
